Rail Road GSM-R 900MHz masts
Used for train signalling and communication. Masts are usually quite tall as they are required for critical communication and therefore are harder to object planning applications for. The masts usually have to panels 180 degrees separated as rail tracks tend to be straight and therefore broadcast perpendicular to the track is unnecessary.
Composed of two quite beafy panels, each with a single cable entering. Located in Guildford, near the Surrey Council Depot.
An alternative view of the mast. Guildford.
This setup is located in Brighton. The mast has two panels 180 degrees separate, with one panel (back) being of the common variety while the front one appears to be of normal mobile cellular origin.
